ARD Inspector —
check any domain's agent catalog.
Scan any domain for Agentic Resource Discovery (ARD) support — the July 2026 discovery spec from Google, Microsoft, Hugging Face, and GoDaddy. Checks ai-catalog.json, robots.txt Agentmap directives, and link tags, then parses every catalog entry.
The spec and who's behind it
What it shows you
All discovery channels checked
One scan checks the well-known URI, parses robots.txt for Agentmap directives, and scans the homepage head for ai-catalog link tags — every publishing channel the ARD spec defines for crawlers.
Catalog entry listing
Renders every entry in the catalog with its domain-anchored URN identifier, display name, IANA media type, tags, and description — the index an ARD registry would build from your domain.
Trust manifest flags
Marks entries that carry a trustManifest — the cryptographic claims and attestation references (SPIFFE workload identity, SOC 2) clients verify before invoking a discovered resource.
A2A cross-referencing
Catalog entries of type application/a2a-agent-card+json are flagged and cross-checked against the domain's live agent card, so you can see whether the catalog and the card agree.
Agentmap validation
When robots.txt points at a catalog via Agentmap, the inspector fetches and validates the referenced file too — a catalog that 404s from its own directive is flagged instead of silently passing.
Full report download
Download the parsed catalog, discovery evidence, and complete three-protocol scan as one JSON report — useful while the spec is young and you're iterating on your catalog. Pro feature.
ARD discovery mechanisms
Who uses it
Platform teams publishing catalogs
ARD is weeks old — if you're writing one of the first ai-catalog.json files, verify it parses, your URNs are domain-anchored, and every discovery channel actually resolves before registries start crawling.
Agent and registry builders
Building discovery into an agent or crawling catalogs into a registry index? Inspect how real domains publish their catalogs and what entry metadata is actually available in the wild.
Standards and ecosystem watchers
Track ARD adoption as it happens. Scan any vendor domain and see in seconds whether they've published a catalog, and what capabilities they're exposing to the agent ecosystem.
