Privacy Policy

At ContextIQ (operated by Trango Compute Inc., “we”, “our”, or “us”), your privacy matters. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google or GitHub, your name and profile picture from those providers. We also collect usage data (pages visited, features used, export actions) to improve the product. If you subscribe, Stripe collects and processes your payment information — we never store raw card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve ContextIQ, send transactional emails (account confirmation, receipts), and occasionally communicate product updates. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your diagrams or content to train machine learning models.
3. Data Storage
Your account data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure). Diagrams you save are stored in Supabase's database. Shared diagram links are stored in Cloudflare KV. We do not store payment data — Stripe handles all payment processing under their own Privacy Policy.
4. Third-Party Services
ContextIQ integrates with: Google OAuth (authentication), GitHub OAuth (authentication), Stripe (subscription billing), Vercel (hosting and edge functions), and Supabase (database and authentication). Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication sessions and theme preference. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
6. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@trango-compute.com. As a Canadian company, we comply with PIPEDA (Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act). If you are in the EU, we also comply with GDPR principles including the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 days. Anonymized usage analytics may be retained longer.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security practices: HTTPS everywhere, encrypted credentials in environment variables, and row-level security policies on our database. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the effective date below.
